The third season of the Power of Mighty Morphin Rangers is an American television series created by Haim Saban and Shuki Levy, beginning airing on September 2, 1995 at Fox Kids. The series follows six teenagers chosen by the wise Zordon sage to become "Power Rangers" to stop the crimes of Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd from taking over planet Earth as the core team. The third season consists of 33 episodes and concluded the early airing of November 27, 1995. The third season of MMPR uses the recording and elements of the Super Sentai series Ninja Sentai Kakuranger . Regular cast members during the third season include Amy Jo Johnson, David Yost, Johnny Yong Bosch, Karan Ashley, Steve Cardenas, Jason David Frank, Jason Narvy, and Paul Schrier. Johnson was later replaced by Catherine Sutherland as a new character, but took on the color and strength of Johnson's character.
Season three takes straight away where season two leave off, with Rangers facing off against evil team Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd. The premier season displays a crossover between Power Rangers and Masked Rider . This season introduces Rito Revolto, Rita's brother, who helps Zedd and Rita in destroying ThunderZords Rangers, causing Rangers to seek and get Ninja Powers from, Ninjor, the original creator of Power Coin. Katherine Hillard (Sutherland), initially under spell by Rita, became new friends of Rangers and the new Pink Ranger, when Kimberly (Johnson) decided to move to Florida with professional gymnastics coaches to practice for Pan Global Games. Bulk and Skull (Schrier and Narvy) submitted their search to find the Power Rangers identity to become a police officer. The season ends with the forest rangers turning into children and the story continues at Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers.
