clean and asshole is a combination of two weightlifting movements, most often done with barbells: clean and jerk. During clean , lifter moves the barbell from floor to greedy position across the deltoids, without resting completely on the clavicles. During jerk the lifter raises the barbell to a stationary position above the head, finishing with straight arms and legs, and legs in the same plane as the torso and barbells.
Of the several variants of the elevator, the most common are clean and shit Olympics, which, by seizing, are contested in Olympic heavy lifting events.

Clean
To carry out clean , the lifter catches a barbell outside the foot, usually using a hook handle. Once the barbell is above the knee, the lifter expands explosively, lifting the bar as high as possible before quickly falling into the squat and accepting it in a "hollow" position in front of the neck and resting on the shoulders. To finish the net, the lifter stands up, often pushing the bar up from the shoulders slightly as the upright position is reached and shifting the grip a little wider and the legs slightly closer together in preparation for the jerk. This clean shape, commonly called power clean , was popularized by Dent Guarino.

Jerk
The jerk starts from the "front shelf" position, which is the final position of clean . Lifting dips a few inches by bending the knee, keeping the back vertically, and then explosively widening the knees, pushing the barbell up from the shoulders, and then quickly falling under the bar by pushing up with the arms and splitting the legs into a lunge position, one into front and one more. The bar is received at the top on the straight arm, and, once stable, the lifter recovers from the split position, bringing the leg back to the same plane as the rest of the body.

- Jerk
Another variation of the asshole besides the split jerk is also described as power jerk , where the lifter receives an overhead bar in a partial squat, with feet on the same plane. as a bar rather than split forward and back. This is usually, but not always, accompanied by significant lateral foot movements to improve stability. When the bar is received in a full squat position, it is referred to as squat squat

- Clean
clean power , weight training not used in competition, referring to any net variant not captured by lifter in full squat position (generally accepted as thigh parallel to the floor or below). The hang clean , another weight training workout, begins with a barbell from the ground, hanging from the arm. Power and net hanger are considered ideal for sport conditioning; as both are total body exercises that have been known to improve neuromuscular coordination and core stability.
The Continental clean involves lifting the bar from the floor to the final net position by whatever method the lifter chooses as long as the bar is not reversed and does not touch the ground. The bar can rest on feet, abdomen, or belt. Hands can be removed and replaced.

1 This is the official world record for Clean and Jerk in the men's category of 105 kg; the highest weight ever raised in Clean and Jerk was 266 kilos (586 lb) in 1988 by Leonid Taranenko of the Soviet Union, but this was no longer considered a world record by the International Weightlifting Federation due to heavyweight restructuring in 1993 and 1998.
