History
Mr. Rooter was founded in 1968 and started a franchise business in 1972. The company is part of the Neighborly family headquartered in Waco, Texas. Other Neighborly brands include Aire Serv, Glass Doctor, Mr. Appliance, Mr. Electric, Rainbow International, The Grounds Guys, Five Star Painting, ProTect Painters, Molly Maid, and Mr. Handyman. Mr. Rooters are also franchises in Canada and the UK (as Drain Doctor).
