Vax UK Ltd is a brand that produces electrical goods and cleaning products in the air care and floor treatment sector, and is headquartered in the UK. This brand is owned by a company called TTI Co. Ltd. Group, based in Hong Kong, China. Vax UK Ltd has its main headquarters and R & D center D located in downtown Birmingham, West Midlands and the service, warehouse and depot operations in the village of Hampton Lovett, near Droitwich, Worcestershire. Vax branded machines are manufactured in China. Vax employs over 400 staff throughout the Birmingham and Droitwich sites in the UK.

History
Vax UK Ltd was founded in December 1977 by Alan Brazier, who has previous experience in the field of carpet cleaning industry. Brazier developed a prototype machine suitable for households but was able to wash carpets and handle accident or flood spills. In 1979, Vax launched a multi-functional "orange" floor treatment machine to meet this goal and initially engaged with consumers with door to door sales. This product is the first in the world.
Vax products were first offered for sale by street retailers in 1982, and the 111 Model Orange Tub became the UK's best-selling vacuum cleaner in 1987.
In June 1990, Vax contracted James Dyson to produce an upright vacuum cleaner aimed at the UK market. The deal involves a license of Ã, Â £ 75,000. In July 1991, he had left the company to produce this product independently.
In July 2010, Dyson attempted to bring legal action against Vax, on top of its Zen vacuum cleaner, in the High Court for patent infringement design. However, in 2011, the UK Court of Appeals rejected this claim.
In 2011, Student Placement Engineer Jake Tyler developed Vax ev, a working prototype of the world's first cardboard vacuum cleaner. This product is featured in a number of online editorial technologies and environments including Gizmag and TreeHugger , and on the BBC Television series Bang Goes the Theory . The cleanser is referenced as a key point in the history of developing Vacuum Cleaner by the Best Wireless Vacuum Guide.
In 2014, Vax diversifies its products ranging from vacuums, carpet washers and steam cleaners including pressure washers, air purifiers and de-humidifiers. The following year Vax introduced a wireless vacuum cleaner with an elevator-out cylinder design.
