2011

January 4, 2011 - Judge Belvin Perry, Jr. delayed the detention of more than two dozen defense movements to exclude evidence from the trial. Over the next few months, Perry makes rules for or against these movements to exclude evidence. He reprimands, and then sanctions financially, defense lawyer Jose Baez for failing to submit expert witness discovery information to prosecutors before a certain deadline.

April 1, 2011 - After many explosions by lawyers in court over what was and not a scientific proof, Judge Perry decided that more such behavior would result in a $ 100 fine per explosion, with proceeds to go to United Way.

May 20, 2011 - After eleven days of jury selection, Judge Perry swears at a jury of five men and seven women, plus three men and two women as alternative judges.

24 May 2011 - Trials begin in Orlando, Florida. Prosecutors said Casey Anthony used tape to strangle Caylee Anthony. The defense argued that the boy was completely drowned in his grandparents' pool, that Casey's father, George Anthony, warned Casey that he would be jailed for life for neglecting the child and then covering up death; so he failed to report the incident for 31 days. Also, since George Anthony has sexually abused Casey as a child, he has a habit of hiding his pain and lying. Baez admits Casey has concocted a nanny story named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez. Baez also questioned whether Roy Kronk, who found his body, actually took it out of another place and questioned police motivation for pursuing an investigative assassination. Prosecutors named George Anthony as their first witness and he denied that they ever sexually harassed his daughter, Casey, or covered Caylee's death.

25 May 2011 - Prosecutors call friends of Casey Anthony who testified of his artificial tales during June and July 2008 having a job and hiring a nanny for Caylee. A neighbor testified that in mid-June 2008 Casey and a boyfriend borrowed a shovel from him to dig up bamboo roots.

May 26, 2011 - Former boyfriend testifies Casey tells her that her brother, Lee Anthony, gropes her sexy. George Anthony was summoned back to the witness where he said he did not smell decomposition in Casey's car on June 24, 2008 and declared him putting tape over a hole in one of the plastic gas cans he had returned to him.

27 May 2011 - A truck tower company manager and George Anthony testified that from their experience the smell of Casey's car resembles human decomposition. During cross-examination, George Anthony told Jose Baez that he did not sexually harass Casey.

May 28, 2011 - Former boyfriend testifies about Casey's normal behavior on June 16, 2008. Cindy Anthony testifies that they swam that day and Caylee can climb the ladder into the pool. He also believes Casey works at Universal Studios Orlando Resort and has a babysitter named Zanny.

31 May 2011 - Cindy Anthony says his description of Casey's car that smells "like someone dies" is just a "metaphor". He tried to get rid of the odor by spraying the Febreze household odor. He said he found a swimming pool in the pool on the night of 16 June. Casey's friend Amy Huizenga talks about Casey's annoyance about getting help with Caylee and reveals that on June 27, Casey sent a message to him about a dead animal in a car frame.

June 1, 2011 - The first officers to arrive at Anthony's house on July 16, 2008 testified that they did not smell human decomposition in Casey's car and admitted they were not looking for two other family cars. They also testified about Casey going to Universal Orlando Resort with Casey that day, where he claims he no longer works there and has no caregiver named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez.

June 2, 2011 - A videotape is shown about Casey lying to his parents in prison and denying to an officer on July 16, 2008 that the Caylee drowned in the pool, as he suggested.

June 3, 2011 - The investigator describes the collection of evidence from Casey's car and obtained from the pull of a plastic garbage bag page in it. An investigator said he smelled human decomposition.

June 4, 2011 - An FBI forensic scientist testifies that the single hair removed from the trunk of the car resembles the hair of a Caylee hairbrush and has a "hair shaft" consistent with the hair of a decaying body.

June 6, 2011 - Dr. Arpad Vass of Oak Ridge National Laboratory explained using a gas chromatographic mass spectrometer to find signs of human decomposition and high levels of chloroform in the trunk of Casey's car. Defense challenged Vass's financial motivations and chain of evidence.

June 7, 2011 - FBI forensic chemist confirms chloroform residue in the trunk of Casey's car, but also states that household cleaning products leave a chloroform trail. A dog handler depicts a dog reminiscent of human decomposition in the trunk, as well as the Caylee playhouse.

June 8, 2011 - A second dog handler says his dog kissed the decomposition in the backyard. Computer analysts confirmed the search for "chloroform" on Casey computers March 17, 2008 and "how to make chloroform" on March 21, 2008.

June 9, 2011 - Software analyst John Bradley says someone uses Anthony's computer to search the Sci-spot.com website for "chloroform" 84 times on March 21, 2008. During cross-examination, he acknowledges that automatic page loads can cause that number and not there is a way to find out who is searching. Investigators showed photographs of the remains, including masking tape above the mouth area. One admits that the duct tape may initially be absent in the mouth and can shift the position as he collects the remains. Casey Anthony got sick looking at the photos and the jury was fired for the day.

June 10, 2011 - Medical examiner states that death is categorized as murder because of delays in reporting disappearances, the fact that the body is hidden, and the presence of masking tape, but states under cross examination he does not know how the child died. The crime scene researchers describe similar maggots found in the trunk of the car and at the scene.

June 11, 2011 - A forensic entomologist says he found flies associated with decay in the trunk of Casey's car. Orange County, Florida, researchers identified a piece of Henkel brand duct found on the scene and testified that the brand was the same as George Anthony wearing a red gas can. One stated that no Henkel brand ribbons were found elsewhere in the Anthonys home.

13 June 2011 - FBI examiner says the hair of a child's skull is consistent with but not identical to the single hair found in the trunk. FBI agents could not find fingerprints on tape found near the remains but initially found adhesive in the shape of a heart at the corner of the tape; then he can not find it anymore.

14 June 2011 - FBI quality assurance specialist says that the hairs found in the trunk can come from members of the Anthony family. A crime scene investigator said that a heart-shaped sticker was found in Casey's room but did not relate it to the one suspected of being in the duct tape. Testimony about and photo of Casey's "Bella Vita" tattoo made on July 2, 2008.

June 15, 2011 - Prosecutor rests his case. The defense made a liberating movement based on inadequate evidence that the murder was committed, which the judge denied based on a previous case decision.

June 16, 2011 - Defense begins its case, often summoning state witnesses for further testimony. The investigator of the crime scene said no blood was found in Casey's car or a stain that weighed on her clothes. FBI analysts say there is no evidence of DNA found in cars or at the scene. He said the FBI had a paternity test that showed Lee Anthony not Caylee's father. The crime scene investigator and forensic supervisor stated that heart-shaped stickers were found far from the body. An FBI forensic examiner did not find any evidence of a heart-shaped sticker on tape found near the remains.

June 17, 2011 - Forensic entomologist called by the defense states if there are bodies in the trunk, there should be hundreds or even thousands of flies that are trapped in the trunk as well.

June 18, 2011 - Defense calls the new witness, Dr. Werner Spitz, who questioned the autopsy of a medical examiner, including the failure to open the skull, and said there was no indication of death was murder. He believes the tape was placed on the skull after decomposition and that the crime scene photographs of the hair position on the skull were staged, perhaps by a medical examiner.

June 21, 2011 - A forensic botanist who is defended challenges the prosecutor's theory of when the body is placed at the scene. An analytical chemist working with Dr. Vass challenged the testing process for the presence of chloroform.

22 June 2011 - An FBI forensic examiner says no dirt from a crime scene was found in shoes in Anthony's house or a neighboring loan shovel. FBI forensic toxicologist did not find any toxins in the hair from the skull of Caylee Anthony. A scientist working with Dr. Vass who testified did not prove there was a corpse in the trunk. The FBI forensic chemical examiner can not find any chloroform traces in the car. FBI forensic experts do not find hairs in trunk liners that show signs of decay. He also testified that the tape at the scene was different from the one in Anthony's house.

23 June 2011 - An FBI hair and fiber specialist says only one strand of hair from a truck car has a sign of decay. There is a long debate between prosecutors and defense over the reliability of "comparable root." An expert in the field of forensic toxicology gave testimony that Dr. Vass "has no organization and planning" and has "minimal quality control standards." He also mentioned that chloroform is a by-product of chlorinated pool water.

June 24, 2011 - Cindy Anthony is summoned to the booth where the defense shows a picture of Caylee on the steps of the pool and he again mentions the stairs were in the pool on June 16 when he came home from work that night, adding that he called George to ask him because he took the stairs from the pool the previous day after swimming there with Caylee. The defense also showed the jury a picture of Caylee that appeared to open the sliding glass door at his home. Cindy says Caylee is able to open the sliding door to the backyard and pool. Lee Anthony stated he was not told Casey was pregnant until a few days before the birth of Caylee. Find volunteers testify about the tape used in the search headquarters.

25 June 2011 - Judge Belvin Perry, Jr. temporarily halted the process after the defense movement to determine whether Anthony was competent to continue the trial, based on the privileged communication of Casey Anthony.

June 27, 2011 - Casey Anthony was found competent to continue after a psychological evaluation. June 27 is also the date stated by the prosecutor discussed with defense lawyer Jose Baez, an observer from John Brownley post-testimony to the prosecutor that there is only one search for chloroform, not 84. In testimony, the lead detective admits that the cadaver dog is not looking inside the Anthonys house, or in two other Anthony cars. A chemical professor called by the defense says there is no scientifically valid instrument that can identify decomposition, that there is no consensus about what chemicals are typical of human decomposition and that the chemical compounds identified by Dr. Vasses in air samples can be found in households. products and garbage. Three witnesses discussed a video search recorded in November 2008 by private investigators of the Anthony family in the forest where the corpse of Caylee was found.

June 28, 2011 - A Texas EquuSearch team letter discusses their November search for Caylee from the site where the body was later discovered. George Anthony denied he had an affair with Krystal Holloway, borrowed money from him, or said his death to Caylee was "an increasingly uncontrolled accident." He admitted going to his home and sending him a text message. He testified he bought a weapon to threaten Casey's friends to let him know where Caylee was, even though he knew someone was violating Casey's assurances. Cindy Anthony denied she sent a private investigator to find the site where Caylee's corpse was discovered later; his son Lee Anthony and the chief detective of the case later testified that he did so, after talking to a psychic. Roy Kronk testified about his vocation to the police and found his body. He denied he told his son that finding a body would make him rich and famous, but admitted he received $ 5,000 after the Caylee corpse was identified. Judge Perry did not allow the jury to hear ex-Prince Casey say that Casey told him that Lee had tried to grope while he was sleeping.

29 June 2011 - Cindy Anthony says Casey's response to media theory that Caylee drowned was "Surprise. Surprise." Baez asked George Anthony about his suicide attempt in January 2009 and the next day the judge allowed the jury to see the suicide note. Roy Kronk's son states that Kronk does say that discovering Caylee Anthony will make him rich and famous. Kronk testified about why he changed his story about lifting the skull. An expert in sadness and trauma testifies that pretending nothing happens and partying is one of many ways people, especially young people, express sadness.

30 June 2011 - Casey Anthony tells Judge Perry that she does not want to testify. Perry will not allow the jury to sniff air samples from the trunk of the car. --Relief summoned Krystal Holloway's search volunteers who claimed he had an affair with George Anthony. He stated that George Anthony told him that Caylee's death was "an increasingly uncontrolled accident." Under cross examination, he also agreed with a previous statement to the police where he said George Anthony did not say he knew it was an accident. After Holloway came down, Judge Perry told the jury that his testimony could be used to doubt George Anthony's credibility, but that was not evidence of how Caylee died. George, Cindy and Lee Anthony all testified that their pets have been buried in the backyard. Cindy calls it a "tradition" to wrap them in blankets and plastic bags; masking tape is used to keep the plastic bag from opening. After this last witness, the defense is rested. The prosecution's refusal begins by showing photos of the Caylee clothing jury and George's suicide note.

July 1, 2011 - Prosecution continues to argue with two representatives of former employer Cindy Anthony explaining why their computer login system showed Cindy was working late afternoon she said she came home early and searched her computer for information on chloroform. A police computer analyst said someone was deliberately looking online for "neck breaking." Other analysts testified that he found no evidence that Cindy Anthony had searched for certain terms he claimed to have sought. An anthropology professor was called back to deny a defense witness about the need to open the skull during the autopsy. The lead detective stated that there were no phone calls between Cindy and George Anthony during the week of June 16, 2008, but admitted he did not know that George had a second phone.

July 3, 2011 - Judge Perry rules that during the closing argument, the defense can deny that there is a sink involved in Caylee's death because there is sufficient evidence about it, but can not argue that George has sexually abused Casey. The prosecution conducted a half-hour closing argument, offering a timeline of events and stating that Casey deliberately strangled Caylee to death by putting three pieces of masking tape on his face. The alleged motive is that the child is interfering with the partying lifestyle and spending time with his girlfriend. Prosecutors declare Caylee's defense story sink and George pushing Casey to cover up the accident does not make sense. The defense against the four-hour argument insists there is no evidence how Caylee died, challenging the prosecutor's most important evidence as "fantasy," and emphasized the reasonable doubt that Casey killed Caylee. Once again confirms that after the child drowns, Casey panics and George Anthony makes death seem like a murder and that he is the one who put the corpse in the nearby forest.

July 4, 2011 - Prosecutors Jeff Ashton and Linda Drane Burdick present a rebuttal to the closure of the defense, telling the jury that their forensic evidence has proven their case, while the defense makes a claim they do not prove. The case then goes to the jury. Judge Belvin Perry, Jr. issuing the final instructions to the jury.

July 5, 2011 - After about ten hours of deliberation, the jury freed Casey Anthony from all criminal charges (ie, first degree murder, compounded murder, and aggravated child abuse), but sentenced him to four counts of false information criminal offenses to law enforcement officials.

7 July 2011 - Judge Perry punishes Casey Anthony for one year of county jail and a $ 1,000 fine for each of the four minor offenses with the amount of providing false information to law enforcement officials. The judge ordered all sentences to run successively to each other, with credit for the time presented. Under a three-year credit for the time served plus additional credit for good behavior, the date of his release is set for July 17, 2011. Judge Perry announced he would not release the jury's name for seven days saying some people "disagree with their verdict" and " something of them. "

July 13, 2011 - Texas EquuSearch, which helps Caylee search, demands Casey Anthony for search fees.

July 15, 2011 - Casey Anthony appeals the allegation of providing false information to law enforcement officials.

July 17, 2011 - Casey Anthony is released from prison at 12:10, with $ 537.68 cash.

July 19, 2011 - Prosecutors write a letter responding to a New York Times article about allegedly cutting evidence of expulsion on chloroform search and saying that they will give the jury additional Notice of Invention but not doing so because the jury has reached the verdict.

26 July 2011 - Judge Belvin Perry, Jr. the rules of the jury's name will remain secret until October 2011, citing the public's "anger and distress" over the innocent verdict. He also urged Florida lawmakers to ban the jury's release in some cases "to protect the security and well-being of citizens willing to serve."

August 1, 2011 - Orange County, Florida Circuit Judge Stan Strickland signed an amendment of court documents that ordered Casey Anthony to return to Orlando within 72 hours to undergo a supervised trial year to check fraud charges that Anthony pleaded guilty in January 2010. Jose Baez accusing Strickland of being biased in the ruling. Strickland resigned from the case.

August 5, 2011 - Baez gets an emergency session with Judge Perry on the grounds that Anthony is already on probation and that Strickland no longer has jurisdiction over it. Perry postponed the decision calling the situation "labyrinth."

August 10, 2011 - The Florida Children and Family Department released a report concluding that Casey Anthony failed to protect Caylee, and that Casey's actions or lack of action resulted in the death of a child. This finding has little legal relevance.

12 August 2011 - Judge Belvin Perry upholds Judge Strickland's order, decides that Casey Anthony should return to Orlando for a one-year probation to check fraud, reporting no later than 26 August. The judge declared that the information of his residence during the probationary period could be kept confidential because of the threat to his life.

23 August 2011 - After the defense attorney filed a petition to appeal Judge Perry's trial sentence, the Fifth District District Court of Florida upheld her. Casey Anthony reported for probation at a secret location on 24 August.

September 15, 2011 - Judge Belvin Perry sets Casey Anthony to pay $ 97,000 from $ 517,000 Florida state wants him to pay the cost of investigation and prosecution to the state under Florida penalty provisions. She decided she would just have to pay costs directly related to lying to law enforcement about Caylee's death, that is, the search fee until September 30, 2008, when the Sheriff's Office stopped investigating missing child cases. In previous arguments, Cheney Mason's attorney has called the prosecutor's attempt to demand "sour wine" in greater numbers because the prosecutor's office lost the case. He told reporters that Anthony could not afford it.

September 23, 2011 - Judge Belvin Perry sets Casey Anthony to pay an additional $ 119,000 for a recalculated fee from a sheriff's search for Caylee Anthony, for a total of $ 217,000.
