The President's Hall is an attraction located at Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort. Its appeal is a multi-media presentation and stage show featuring Audio-Animatronic figures of all 44 1 each President of the United States. Opened on October 1, 1971, along with the rest of the Magic Kingdom and resorts.
Housed in a building resembling Independence Hall in Philadelphia, the current attractions feature short films depicting historical records from several American presidencies, notably George Washington, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and John F. Kennedy. The film was followed by a stage presentation of all presidents in the form of Audio-Animatronic and speech features by Lincoln, Washington, and Donald Trump.

History
One Nation Under God
Walt Disney originally wanted an attraction similar to "Hall of Presidents" called One Nation Under God at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. After Disneyland became a huge success, Disney proposed an extension of Main Street, USA named Liberty Street in Edison Square. Disney originally wanted a wax statue of all US Presidents, and then decided to try to make them animated figures, but the technology he wanted for this attraction did not exist or fully fulfilled his wishes. Disney decided to collaborate with fellow Imagineers of WED Enterprises to try to make the first Audio-Animatronic figure in human form, and that would be one of Disney's heroes: Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States.
Great Moment with Mr. Lincoln
Disney and his Imagineers created the figure of Audio-Animatronik Abraham Lincoln, more advanced than those produced for the Illinois Pavilion at the New York World Expo 1964-1965. The show consists of a pre-show on screen with depictions of paintings performed to represent Illinois. The guests then entered the main theater where the theater curtain was finally released to reveal the figure of Abraham Lincoln sitting in a chair. He rose from a chair, stood up and gave a speech, lasting five to seven minutes, consisting of his famous collection of speeches.
The show concludes with more theatrical curtains revealing the Rotunda of the United States Capitol Building. While the original version of the show played in New York during the show at the Exhibition was eventually disassembled and destroyed, a similar version was made even when the Exposition took place in 1965. Great Moment with Lord Lincoln i> closed for the anniversary to 50 Disneyland in 2005 but reopened in 2009.
Liberty Square
After Disney's death on December 15, 1966, plans moved forward for Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. As there will be other Disney-style theme parks, this time officially known as the Kingdom of Magic, Imagineers feel that one of the changes that will be different between Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom should be on one of the themed lands. The Imagineers decided that since Florida is closer to the real New Orleans in Louisiana, having New Orleans Square in the Magic Kingdom is a bit overwhelming. The old designs and concepts for Disney's Liberty Street in Edison Square are reviewed, revised, and what it becomes of the Liberty Square of the Kingdom of Magic, which serves as an alternative to New Orleans Square. Liberty Square also serves as an alternative location for the Magic Kingdom version of Haunted Mansion, located in New Orleans Square at Disneyland. The Imagineers also thought that, as a follow-up to the "Great Moment with Lord Lincoln," they were finally able to create the Disney concept of "One Nation Under God," and thus create the President's Hall.

Attraction
The show begins with a film presentation on US history. This shows that the way America is forged through conflict and long years of struggle. The main idea of ​​this film is that the United States is not free from improvement. These are certain changes that have proved necessary over the years. The film also celebrates the freedom of the American people, the Constitution of the United States, and the progress of America in the early years.
1971-1993
With the help of painting from that era, the Philadelphia Convention was revived. George Washington (voiced by Disney veteran Paul Frees) and Benjamin Franklin (Lawrence Dobkin, who also narrated the original 1971 show) were heard delivering a speech to the Convention. They assure all that this government will be different. After the formation of the Constitution, the first test of the new republic was the Whiskey Rebellion, which proved that the government would use force to "ensure domestic calm." Years later, President Andrew Jackson (Dallas McKennon) was the first to deal with secession by the Southern states. Fortunately, the talks were put out and Jackson escaped the threat.
The film then continues into the time of Abraham Lincoln (Royal Dano), when secession is a real threat. These vocal paintings and performances are similar, if not identical, to the same segment in the presentation of "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln". The American Civil War section of this presentation is based on the presentation of "The Great Moment with Lord Lincoln", including almost identical scripts, though, to match the much larger theater screen, rather than the smaller ones in Disneyland, new. painting is required to fill the screen. The Constitution survived the conflict, making America a truly united country.
The great progress era came after the war. Meanwhile, the Constitution remains the tent pole of the state. The film then changes into the future, saying that future leaders must commit to the Constitution and its principles, if the country wants to survive. The Saturn V rocket took off, and the screen was later lifted, and the US President took the lead. After the curtain is lifted, all (then) 36 presidents are called, in chronological order. (When the attraction opened in 1971, the rolling call ended with Richard M. Nixon.Over time, every newly elected President will have an Audio-Animatronic version of himself added to the show in their form.)
Each responds to their name with a nod, wave, or other acknowledgment. During the presentation, the Presidents were restless, talking to each other, and looking around; while making the illusion seem real. Abraham Lincoln then stood up and took the main stage. His speech was very similar to the speech he gave in "Great Moment with Lord Lincoln". After his speech, the event concluded with the song "The Battle Hymn of Republic," (the same translation used in "The Great Moment with Lord Lincoln"). However, in 2009, Battle Hymn of the Republic was replaced with America the Beautiful, but returned to "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" in 2011.
1993-2001
The original show remained unchanged from 1971 to October 1993. Additional Audio-Animatronic figures from Gerald R. Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, and George H.W. Bush is then added when each enters the office. Lawrence Dobkin continues to be the narrator, and re-records call-rolls for each new addition. The only major feature that changed before 1993 was the original adaptation of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" which served as the final part of the show. It is the same adaptation used in the "Great Moment with Lord Lincoln". Adaptations are performed with a lower key, and are instead converted for a revised adaptation in a higher key.
The show closed in early September 1993 and was then completely renovated and reopened in October 1993, after Bill Clinton was elected to the office. The changes to the show, which are in some form fixed until early 2017, are credited to Eric Foner, a professor of history at Columbia University. He was able to persuade a variety of Disney executives, especially then Disney CEO Michael Eisner, that a new adaptation of the event was needed. Foner is responsible for thoroughly rewriting and changing the play script to focus more on slavery and other ethical and civil-related issues in the United States. He was also responsible for rewriting Lincoln's speech, which was initially almost identical to what Lincoln gave in the original version of "The Great Moment with Lord Lincoln." Clinton also became the first president to cast his voice and record a dialogue for his audio-animatronic figures; George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald J. Trump then follow this process.
While the event format stays in the sense of photos, movies, and other features used in movies and elsewhere in the presentation, the speed of movie playback, and what is shown to them is an adjustment to replace the changed scripts. A new music score was also introduced.
Also, there is no longer a prominent member of the Walt Disney Company that tells part of the film. Instead, Maya Angelou narrates the revised manuscript and gives an appeal to the President of the United States. New amateur actor gives character sound in movie. Another feature that was added in 1993 was a speech given by a sitting US President. Foner was responsible for writing a speech that President Clinton himself recorded at the White House. Followed by the current US President's speech, Abraham Lincoln will give a completely revised speech written by Foner. The figure of Lincoln Audio-Animatronik was also given glasses, and held a piece of paper to glance at and from his speech. Some objections to this, saying that it mutes the portrayal of Lincoln as a prominent and iconic figure.
2001-2009
For the 2001 update to the show, added President George W. Bush and his speech, actor JD Hall replaced Angelou as the narrator, but he read from the same script as the 1993 version. The Audio-Animatronik figure created for Clinton in 1993 is recycled and used for Bush; Clinton is now a lower Audio-Animatronic figure.
2009-2017
Prior to 2009 updates to the show, including the addition of President Barack Obama, Hall of Presidents closed between 31 October 2008 and 1 July 2009, underwent extensive renovations to enhance the effects and audio and visual systems. When Obama recorded his speech for an event that was updated on March 4, 2009, in the White House Map Room, he also noted himself once again recited the oath of office of the President of the United States. According to Pam Fisher, senior event writer for Walt Disney Imagineering, "this was enough experience to arrive at the White House and was really present when the president recorded his speech to the Hall of Presidents." Morgan Freeman replaced Hall as the narrator for the revised show of 2009, and George Washington was added as the third speaking president. The Saturn V launch clip was replaced with footage showing the first launch of the Columbia Space Shuttle. This recording has been recycled from the original version of Universe of Energy at Epcot.
2017-present
The appeal closes on January 17, 2017 for the repair and addition of President Donald Trump as a new audio-animatronic character. It reopened on December 19, 2017 and featured a new figure. After a call from all past presidents, animatronic Washington gave a short speech, followed by Trump standing and reading the oath of the President Of Office.
