Roteb is a city cleaning company which is in service of the City of Rotterdam and tries to make sure that the streets and squares of the city are kept tidy and they also offer waste management services.
The acronym Roteb stands for Rotterdams, ondernemend, trots, effectief en betrouwbaar (meaning (from) Rotterdam, enterprising, proud, effective and trustworthy).
Roteb was founded in 1876 as the Rotterdamsche reinigingsdienst (Rotterdam cleaning service).
